On Thursday, September 14th, the Outcomex team came together to celebrate another successful year at our annual gathering held at The Fortress, Sydney — a unique gaming venue located in Central Park, Sydney.
We were delighted not only to have our interstate teams in attendance, but also to welcome members from across borders – from Malaysia, New Zealand, and some of our newest recruits from South Africa.
Laughter, camaraderie, drinks, and delicious food made the day truly enjoyable for all.
Every quarterly meeting our wider team receives an update from our CEO, Marco Delgado and from each department including sales, engineering, presales, finance, managed services, and marketing. This year’s most exciting updates include:
- 15 new Outcomexperts!
- Exciting internal promotions
- New spaces for Outcomex to venture into, including a new office in Melbourne, new staging, research and innovation hub in Sydney, as well as a manufacturing facility in New Zealand
- New modules added to our wide portfolio of industry-based IoT solutions, powered by 365mesh to cater to other industries such as Intelligent security and construction safety
- Our IoT sector branching out globally with presence in New Zealand, Europe, America, and South Africa!
Since 2019, our team has grown significantly – jumping from 82 to 148 team members!
Our team leaders shared valuable words of wisdom, reminding us to:
- Celebrate victories, whether big or small.
- Embrace responsiveness and a willingness to help.
- Nurture relationships with family and the Outcomex family – lean on your families for support.
- Try not to be disheartened by setbacks – in the long run they are learning curves and if anything, accelerate personal development.
A select group of individuals also engaged in an exhilarating Pac-Man competition, resulting in two triumphant winners who claimed their well-deserved prizes!
The party continued throughout the night, moving into 2135, a retro-style bar with Nintendo Switch available for multiplayer games, as well as an arcade right outside of the bar – some prizes were won in the arcade with Outcomexperts sporting some gadgets from the claw machines and bragging rights from games including basketball, drumming competitions and virtual race cars.
We would like to thank all who joined us, as well as congratulate all 72 of our award winners – individuals who have consistently demonstrated hard work and dedication which have contributed to the success of Outcomex over the past year while nurturing our vibrant company culture.
Award categories included: Most Valuable Players, Chairmans awards, and our prestigious Engineer Hall of Fame awards.
Looking ahead, our team eagerly anticipates reuniting not only with one another but also with our valued customers and vendors at Cisco Live! in Melbourne this December!
