Outcomex was proud to be a fourth time Platinum Sponsor for Cisco Live! Cisco Live, one of the largest IT and technology conventions in APJC region, was held from 6-9 December where professionals in the tech industry gather to share their unique solutions. Over 100 members of our team flew in from all over Australia and even some from overseas, to represent the company and attend the exhibition, all sporting a famous Outcomex blue shirt.

It’s the pinnacle of our marketing work through the year and is extremely important to us as a business.”

Our engineers had the opportunity of attending breakout sessions where they learn about the latest technology and IT solutions helping to bolster their credentials.

“Cisco Live gives our engineers the chance to take a step back, without the pressure of the day to day works – to learn and understand the Cisco direction within their skillsets and remit.  They also get to meet and greet Cisco business unit assets – those people who are forming the technology and bringing it to market.  This gives our team the edge, as they can relay that information to our customers through the course of their project and support work.  We also have a number of engineers writing exams at Cisco Live, which they have studied for throughout the year – so the focus on education and enablement is very high.” says Michael.

This year, in particular, was exciting as it was the first Cisco Live since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic – for many this was their first ever Cisco Live and for others, it was a nice reunion with some interstate peers, customers and partners.

Cisco Live 2022: Keynote address from Outcomex’s CEO and founder Marco Delgado – Our 365mesh IoT journey

Our CEO proudly presented a 30-minute keynote about how Outcomex delves into the world of IoT, where we started and where we’re at (6 years of innovation) and where we’re going.

Marco discussed Outcomex’s centralised Multi DC cloud based IoT software platform (with private cloud failover), which supports multiple sensor technologies and offers multi-tenant / multi-user access – and is available as a white label solution for end-user, various industry customers and IT providers/resellers.

Outcomex is ALL IN

The Outcomex team thoroughly enjoyed the Cisco Live Opening Keynote by Cisco’s president of the Asia Pacific region, Dave West, with an exciting guest appearance from the Ed Green, Head of Commercial Technology from the F1 McLaren team. It was enlightening to hear Dave’s and Cisco’s other brilliant executives talk about  the newest tech, but also a heartful speech from Dave about the global climate and ever-changing state of the environment.

Customer Appreciation

Outcomex held a Customer Appreciation party at The Albion Rooftop on Wednesday, 7^th of December, where colleagues, customers and partners came together to network and celebrate the end of the year with some food, drinks, dancing and even a fun photobooth!

Third time’s the charm!

Outcomex is proud to say we took home third place for the 2022 Cisco Partner Innovation Challenge with the IoT solution SmartCity Deck. This was our third consecutive win after our successful submission of TransportDeck in 2021 and Farmdeck in 2020, where we won first place in both ANZ and global theatres.
