Outcomex has been awarded first place in the 2022 Cisco ANZ Partner Innovation Challenge! This year, we submitted Smart CityDeck, our IoT industry solution for councils, urban developers and public spaces.

Being third-year participants of the Cisco Partner Innovation Challenge, this is our third consecutive win after our successful submission of TransportDeck in 2021 and Farmdeck in 2020, where we took home first place in both ANZ and global theatres.
This award recognises our IoT industry solution for public spaces – Smart CityDeck.
We’re changing how cities work. Smart CityDeck is an all-in-one smart management solution that includes sensors and smart cameras, networking connectivity and our Outcomex-built platform. This end-to-end solution can be tailored to meet our customers’ needs; giving them greater control than ever before over what’s happening in order to solve current issues or get an overview of potential problems.
Councils and urban developers can greatly benefit from Smart CityDeck to make their cities more efficiently monitor, manage and automate their smart cities before, during and after development.
Outcomex has deployed Cisco API’s and industrial hardware to give users data in real-time, whether this be in construction sites or in residential and public spaces, so our customers can make informed business decisions to manage their cities. Outcomex’s AI/ML algorithms are integrated with existing technology in the cameras we use. This allows more advanced detection and counting capabilities to achieve the analytic use cases required for city management.
Here are some use cases available in Smart CityDeck:
Vehicle Counting
Counts the number of cars, taxis and buses occupying bays during different times of the day.
Security and Surveillance
CCTV cameras with object and motion detection can keep an eye on key locations to give real-time and historical security footage.
Pedestrian Counting
Counts the number of people occupying bays during different times of the day to monitor pedestrian flow.
Energy Consumption
Understand your energy usage, track your electricity consumption as you go to avoid surprises, and see how you can reduce consumption.
Environment Monitoring
Use sensors to better understand your council spaces, and see location temperature, air quality and noise levels with the Smart CityDeck application.
Effluent Tanks
Take the dirty work out of Effluent Tanks management – understand when tanks need to be empty, or when you have an issue such as a leak, using Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and the Smart CityDeck app.
