Closing FY17-18 with a Bang!

As we’re closing the 2017-2018 Financial Year, the team has been reflecting on how much we’ve achieved in the last 365 days. All those accomplishments effected a revenue growth of 50% year on year, as well as a 20% growth in staff. Part of our growth has derived from our entrance in the Victorian market. Only 10 months after the opening of our new branch, we have already won numerous major customers, such as Swinburne University, Victorian Electoral Commission, and Carlton United Breweries. This successful start has spurred a hiring spree in Melbourne, leading to the purchase of a larger office to support the growing number of employees.

Outcomex has also been focusing heavily on elevating our company’s certifications as well as our engineers’. As such, we have become the first partner in ANZ to achieve Cisco’s Master Security Specialisation earlier this year. Our Security Practice Lead, Darren Lynn, has led the team to be awarded this specialisation after becoming Cisco Fire Jumper Elite! We are also proud to have obtained four new certifications with VMware: Server Virtualisation, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Network Virtualisation, and VMware Cloud on AWS. Reaching this level of specialisation is a fantastic result for Outcomex as we continue to grow and evolve, always offering the best technology solutions to our clients.

Looking back at Outcomex’s evolution from 2012 until today, it’s easy to see that our success has stemmed from one consistent strategy: continuously developing our engineering skills by employing the most talented engineers on the market and by investing in training them. The whole team closed FY17-18 together at the Greens Hotel in North Sydney to celebrate over burgers and barefoot lawn bowls.
