Outcomex wins Cisco ‘ANZ Digital Transformation of the year’

Bringing back the ‘ANZ Digital Transformation of the Year’ Award to Sydney, Outcomex was also runner up in 3 additional categories.

Cisco ‘ANZ Digital Transformation of the Year’ Award

This year was quite exciting for Outcomex as it marked our entry on the IoT market, and we came in strong! We are proud to have won Cisco ‘ANZ Digital Transformation of the year’ Award for an IoT project based on the Cisco IoT solution enhanced by Outcomex’s analytics platform, ‘Farmdeck’. The solution, implemented in 2017 at Llanelli Farm in NSW, helped to solve their two main challenges; water management and livestock tracking. This is the first solution worldwide to affordably automate the capture of data in remote areas.

Michael van Zoggel, National Sales Manager, and Luca Palermo, Wireless Specialist, presented this solution during their 40min Case Study session on Wednesday, 7th March. Beside winning Cisco ‘ANZ Digital Transformation of the Year’ Award, Outcomex was also runner up in three categories: ‘ANZ Enterprise Networking Partner of the Year’, ‘ANZ Ecosystem Partner of the Year’, and ‘Australian Innovation Partner of the Year’ Awards.

Platinum Sponsor for a Second Year in a Row

For a second year in a row, Outcomex was one of Cisco Live Melbourne’s platinum sponsors. The company has continued the tradition to fly down the whole team to the event; creating an impactful wave of blue at the stand. Marco Delgado, Managing Director, sees great value in attending the four-day event not only for networking, but also as a team bonding opportunity promoting the company culture.

Cisco Live offered our engineers the chance to learn about the latest technologies in the industry and gain some valuable insight on what customers are looking to achieve. However, their first priority was still towards delivering services and support to our customers. Our hard-working team was able to maintain the same high level of support, working between breakout sessions, at the stand, and from their apartments. As always, pure dedication and spirit from the Outcomex team!

Our Cisco Live Think Tank Sessions

Our team delivered two Think Tank Sessions on Thursday, 8th March. The first one, ‘Migrating to Cisco SDA: What to Know Before’, discussed the key considerations and architectural points when looking to migrate to Cisco Digital Network Architecture. Whereas, the second Think Tank, ‘Commvault ScaleProtect and Cisco UCS: A Single Stack Solution’, was beneficial for attendees dealing with backup or having an upcoming data centre project involving backup.

After another successful year at Cisco Live Melbourne, Outcomex looks forward to continuing the tradition next year at Cisco Live 2018!
